We're gearing up for our union member-to-member political program and we need your help as we work to help re-elect Governor Andy Beshear. We worked hard to help elect Governor Beshear in 2019, endorsing him based on his track record as Attorney General and his campaign promises. And we've endorsed him again, because since taking office, Andy has consistently stood with Kentucky's working families.
He's stood with Coal Miners and Public Sector Union Members. He stood up for workplace safety, reinstating the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board, previously abolished by his predecessor, former Gov. Matt Bevin, and again when the Legislature tried to weaken the board's standards. He's fought to protect unemployment insurance benefits for out of work Kentuckian, and again. And he's defended and the pensions of public educators. And Governor has continually walked alongside Kentuckians tragically impacted by disaster after disaster.
