Louisville Courier-Journal: It's coming down to crunch time for Kentucky redistricting. Here's where things stand

The Kentucky legislature's Republican leadership is drafting new maps of the state's legislative and congressional districts, and they hope to finish this once-per-decade redistricting process before the year ends, if Gov Andy Beshear agrees to call a special session.

"If he doesn't, that will be potentially calamitous and surely chaotic," Senate Majority Floor Leader Damon Thayer, R-Georgetown, said.
