If we’ve ever needed Mitch McConnell to act like an American first and a Republican second, it’s now.
With Donald Trump launching yet another attack on one of our nation’s institutions — the ballot box, this time — and with division as deep as many of us have seen in our lifetimes, it’s time for McConnell to step forward and say enough is enough.
Enough with the unfounded claims of fraud. Enough with the unfounded claims of cheating by Democrats.
