From Cornelius Cotton:

We are pleased to share Brother Ron Hargrove’s involvement with the Louisville Defender Special Issue of Louisville Magazine. Ron is a member and Director of the Kentucky ARA and handles photography, video and social media for our chapter. Ron is a member of UAW 862 and retired from Ford Motor Company. He is also active with the A. Philip Randolph Institute.

The Louisville Defender is Louisville’s iconic weekly Black newspaper. For almost 90 years, it has been there to cover issues and topics of concern to Louisville's Black community. The Louisville Story Program has partnered with the University of Louisville Photographic Archives and Louisville Magazine to develop a special issue of the magazine celebrating the legacy of the Defender.

This special issue features a one half page picture of Brother Hargrove celebrating his long time work in our community.
