Almost 100 volunteers trucked 1,500 Christmas dinners--turkey and the trimmings--from Louisville to tornado victims in Mayfield and Bowling Green.

Dubbed "Boxes of Love," the holiday meals were distributed to non-profit organizations and churches in the two communities, both heavily damaged by the deadly twister that ravaged western Kentucky on Dec. 10. In Bowling Green, the meals were unloaded at the UAW 2164 hall.
