If you're like me, this election is making you as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

I'd bet you're also looking for some good, or at least hopeful, news about Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, our labor-endorsed presidential ticket. So as a service to our union brothers and sisters, I've been "surfing the net" -- do they still say that? -- for spirit-lifting news nuggets.

I'll be updating this story until the polls close.

Here's what I'm finding so far:

Mike Elk's Pittsburgh-based Payday Report:

I've been on the phone with organizers in Western PA, many of whom I have known for decades, and everywhere we hear reports of turnout goals being exceeded in key Democratic precincts.

We will have more later, but as the Democratic operative put it to me, folks are "nauseously optimistic".
