New Poll Confirms Andy Beshear One of the Most Popular Governors in the Country

Morning Consult poll continues to show more than six in 10 Kentuckians approve of Beshear

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A new poll from Morning Consult once again confirmed Gov. Andy Beshear remains one of the most popular governors in the country, with his approval rating rising to 63% of Kentuckians.

This poll is just the latest to show more than 60% of Kentuckians approving of Beshear, and comes after the campaign reported a strong fundraising period in which the campaign reported raising $6.6 million to date, and more than $1.4 million in 2023 alone.

“Governor Andy Beshear has repeatedly delivered for Kentucky families in challenging times,” said campaign manager Eric Hyers. “His approach that looks out for everyone in the Commonwealth while bringing good-paying jobs and new investments to Kentucky is why he is consistently one of the most popular governors in the country. Kentuckians across party lines know that Andy Beshear stands up for them, and they’re ready to reelect him this November.”

During his time in office, Gov. Beshear has removed barriers to health care coverage and relaunched kynect to expand quality care to more Kentuckians, restored voting rights for more than 180,000 Kentuckians, and invested in public schools, high speed internet and clean drinking water. In this last legislative session, he signed into law two of the biggest legislative priorities that he campaigned on in 2019, legalizing both medical cannabis and sports betting in the Commonwealth. The governor has also led Kentucky to historic economic growth and provided strong, steady leadership during three of the most difficult years in Kentucky history with the pandemic and deadly natural disasters.
