A Limerick by Lindsey Horner:
A mob of the MAGA persuasion
Conducted a Capitol invasion.
Though possible armed,
They parted unharmed,
And that's how you know they're Caucasian.
Hallmark Cards, based in Kansas City, gave money to Sens. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., and Roger Marshall, R-Kans. When they, voted against certifying the electoral vote count that made oe Biden president, the company asked for its money back. Jim Roberts, publisher and chief security officer at 74, a non-profit, non-partisan news site that covers American education, referred to the story on Twitter.
He got these responses for suggested messages on greeting cards for Hawley and Marshall:
roses are red violets are blue
sedition is bad we can't support you
-- NOTE-TAKING LAWYER
Roses are red
Violets are blue
We're both freaking nuts
'Cause we both follow Q
-- Travis
"We love you You're very special" and "Wishing you a White Christmas"
-- Teresa Chaykowsky
"With sympathy on your failed coup attempt"
-- Andrew Peat
A card, some flowers, a candy box:
Each is a fine tradition.
But even when the president says, "I love you,"
We draw the line at sedition.
