As an advocate against child abuse Robin Miller a member of UFCW 227 at Kroger 352 in Lexington, now dedicates all her free time to helping prevent and recognize child abuse. Since 2007 when Robin joined Americore Vista she has helped staff many Resource Fairs to raise awareness of child abuse. The fairs offer resources to parents in the form of workshops. These workshops are a way to help families parent better as well as foster parents who take on children in the system. Robin says she sees it as her job to help citizens increase their awareness of child abuse situations. Her group meets once a month to network and organize the community around Youth service centers, foster care and DCVS.
