Dear Executive Board and COPE, at our board meeting last week we discussed this event. AFL-CIO is also having a Labor Walk this day and time at IBEW. American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) and District 6 is excited to invite you to a Day of Action celebrating the legacy of Emeritus Augusta Y. Thomas on Saturday, October 19, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the IBEW Hall, located at 4315 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40213.
As we approach the upcoming election, this event will center on vital activities such as canvassing, phone banking, and postcard writing. Together, we can mobilize support for candidates and policies that reflect Augusta's unwavering commitment to civil rights, workers' rights, and human rights.
