It's time to register for Tuesday's "Workers' Rights Town Hall," an online panel discussion which will feature Congressman John Yarmuth and state Rep. McKenzie Cantrell.

The two Louisville Democrats are strong supporters of organized labor.

Kentucky State AFL-CIO president Bill Londrigan and other Kentucky workers will speak during the program, which is being billed as "a virtual conversation with workers, policy experts, and lawmakers" and is set for 6-7 p.m. EDT (5-6 p.m. CDT).

The program "will focus on the need for the infrastructure bills that have been proposed so we can put union members to work rebuilding America," Londrigan said. "So please register and share the notice and link with your members via social media."

Explained Liles Taylor, state AFL-CIO political coordinator: "Panelists will discuss what the pieces of federal legislation titled the American Jobs Plan and the American Families Plan could mean for Kentucky workers and families across the state and focus on "what's ahead and what's at stake" for Kentucky workers.
