The Kentucky State AFL-CIO COPE Committee unanimously endorsed a quartet of additional candidates running in the May 17 primary.
Velvet Dowdy, Henderson, who is running in House District 11, and Alan Lossner, Slaughters, a candidate in House District 12, got the COPE Committee nod. So did Bruce Pritchett, Henderson, a candidate in Senate District 4. All three are Democrats.
The Committee also endorsed Kelly Thompson, of Bowling Green, who is running for the Kentucky Supreme Court. Judicial races in Kentucky are nonpartisan.
The endorsements were made at Wednesday's Executive Board meeting in Frankfort.
