A memorial service for Billy Stivers, 63, a state AFL-CIO Executive Board Member and IAM District Lodge directing business representative, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Newcomer Cremations, 3309 Ballard Lane, in New Albany, Ind.
A reception for family and friends will start at noon and last until the service begins. "Contributions in Billy’s memory may be made to Camp Quality Kentuckiana, P.O. Box 35474, Louisville, KY 40232, which specializes in helping kids with cancer," said Bill Londrigan, state AFL-CIO president.
