From the STUMBO FOR ATTORNEY GENERAL CAMPAIGN

LEXINGTON, KY, October 10, 2019— A lawyer for the Greg Stumbo for Attorney General campaign sent out a Cease & Desist letter to television stations who are airing  false and defamatory information.  The letter demands that the stations immediately cease airing the ad since the public record shows that the claims made in the ad are false.

The ad was paid for by Kentucky Freedom Fund, the PAC controlled by the Republican Attorneys General Association.

A television station that continues to air material it knows is false and deceptive is potentially liable for fines and damages. The Campaign will be forced to file complaints with the FEC and other enforcement agencies if the stations do not immediately cease this illegal action.

The public should be aware that the PAC is sharing false information in an attempt to bolster the flagging campaign of Daniel Cameron, an attorney so inexperienced that he has been sued by a citizen for his failure to meet even the minimum qualifications to run for office in Kentucky.
