Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The Trump administration has just taken its most blatantly anti-worker, anti-union action yet—issuing an executive order that strips the right to organize from hundreds of thousands of federal workers at more than 30 agencies.

Let’s be clear: this is political retaliation. The administration itself admitted that this is punishment for unions speaking out and fighting back in court. It’s union-busting, plain and simple.

If Trump can erase hundreds of thousands of union contracts with the stroke of a pen, no union contract in America is safe. This is an attack on the fundamental freedom of every worker to organize, bargain, and have a voice on the job.

We need to send a loud and clear message: We won’t back down.
