From BILL LONDRIGAN

It is my sad duty to report the passing of Kentucky Laborers’ District Council Business Manager and Member of the Kentucky State AFL-CIO Executive Board Perry Blades beloved mother Judy Blades.  Judy is also the mother of LIUNA Local 1214 Business Manager Terry Blades.   Please keep Perry & Terry and the entire Blades family in your thoughts and prayers.  Judy’s obituary and arrangements are below.

Also, the labor movement lost a real champion with the passing of my friend and brother Florida AFL-CIO President Mike Williams.  Mike was a great State Fed leader and a member of the IBEW.  Mike always stood for workers and organized labor and reached out during our tornadoes and flooding disasters and with his kind assistance the Florida AFL-CIO contributed over $21,000 to help our members.  Please remember Mike Williams in your thoughts and prayers and click the link below for a news article about Mike.  In Solidarity, Bill.

Mike Williams, Florida's relentless labor organizer, dies at 72 (msn.com)

Please see below the service information for Perry & Terry’s mother, Judy Blades. Ms. Blades passed away in her sleep on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at her home. We ask that you keep Perry, Terry and their families in your thoughts and prayers as they endure this heartbreaking season.
