Are people in other countries really fans of the U.S. health care system?

EDITOR'S NOTE: Opponents of a uniform single-payer health care system say America's mostly private insurance health care system is the envy of the world. Kay Tillow of Kentuckians for Single Payer Health Care sent us a New York Times video that suggests otherwise. Titled "‘Why Is It So Expensive?’ We Asked People From Around the World What They Think of U.S. Health Care." The video is posted on the Kentuckians for Single Payer website.

"...We gathered people from around the world and introduced them to the American health care system," the Times explained. "We presented them with dizzying examples of insurance plan options. We showed them how much medical services cost. And we revealed some of the survival strategies of the tens of millions of Americans who are uninsured (drug purchases in Mexico, GoFundMe campaigns, consultations with 'Dr. Google')."
