By BILL LONDRIGAN

Brothers and sisters, there's no need to repeat how important tomorrow’s elections are to the working men and women of Kentucky and our nation.

We all know what is at stake.

Once again, our affiliates and members have done a great job of contacting our members and our friends at Kentucky Family Values have been spreading our message to the general voting public as well.  We have been talking about the issues and trying to break through the BS being put out by the other side.

We are now down to the wire and now it is time to bring this home for sake of our commonwealth and country.  Today, we have members and volunteers canvassing in a number of districts and we have folks making phone calls to our members and their families.

Don’t forget that in Kentucky with our short window to vote (6 a.m. – 6 p.m.) employers are required to allow workers the opportunity to vote, with some requiring notice in order to do so.  So please let your members know that tomorrow they have to get to the polls and if they are working they can request reasonable time off work to do so.

Thanks to everyone who has been working hard to elect our endorsed candidates.  Let’s hope and pray for victory tomorrow so we can turn the tide against the corporate-backed candidates who have voted against the interests of Kentucky’s hard working men and women.
