Cinderella's fairy godmother famously warned her to exit the ball before midnight when her fancy carriage would turn back into a pumpkin.

Okay, your car or truck won't poof into a pumpkin at midnight tonight. But at 11:59 p.m., your time, you'll lose your chance to apply online for an absentee mail in ballot for the June 23 primary.

A lot of folks have already applied, received, marked and sent in their ballots. You've still got time today. Click on GOVOTEKY.comIt takes two minutes, maybe less. The directions couldn't be easier to follow. There's also an instructional video: KY State Board of Elections-Absentee request video information  

"Know someone without access to a computer or smart phone?" asks Liles Taylor, our state AFL-CIO legislative coordinator. "They can call their local county clerk’s office to request their ballot."
