The Economic Case for Medicare for All

Economics Professor Gerald Friedman, Ph.D., will speak on the funding of a single payer, improved Medicare for All health care system on October 24 at 7 p.m. at the Louisville First Unitarian Church, 809 S. 4th St.

Dr. Friedman is a professor of economics at the University of Massachusetts at  Amherst.

Andy Beshear is sharing a new graphic on social media to slam Matt Bevin for "leaving money on the table," as he's releasing his plan today to expand gaming to make Kentucky more competitive and fund pensions for teachers and first responders.

David Gray might not consider himself a media star. 

But the Henderson-based IUOE Local 181 business manager is getting rave reviews in union ranks for a one-minute video in which he calls out GOP Gov. Matt Bevin for the union-buster he is. Gray urges viewers to vote for gubernatorial hopeful "Andy Beshear and the entire Democratic slate who've committed to fight for working people in Kentucky."

The Kentucky State AFL-CIO, including Local 181, endorsed the Democratic ticket. 

Jacqueline Coleman, an active educator and former assistant public school principal, is taking to social media in a new video to slam Matt Bevin for holding an unhinged press conference, where he desperately tried to run from his record of attacking teachers and tearing down public education.
